She’s among the favorites at the Tokyo Olympics. There could be quite a few DNFs given the conditions. There are three Britons taking part: Jess Piasecki, Stephanie Twell and Stephanie Davis.
Elsewhere in the day we’ll be covering the following events in detail, with medal hopes for Great Britain, who currently sit fourth in the medal table.
Coming up in the next couple of hours we’ll have updates from the women’s golf, the men’s basketball final and Tom Daley, who takes part in the 10m individual platform semi-final at 2am and, if he gets through, the final.
Then, at 6am there is Galal Yafai in the men’s flyweight final, before the modern pentathlon gets under way and more equestrianism, too.
A bit later on there’s more from the Izi velodrome where Ethan Hayter go for gold in the men’s madison, hoping to follow in the footsteps of Laura Kenny and Katie Archibold who took gold in the women’s version on Friday.
Then the athletics kicks off in the Tokyo evening, with the 4x400m relays, the men’s 1,500m, the women’s 10km and the high jump final, all of which have British interest.
