Chelsea and AS Roma have reached an agreement for the transfer of striker Tammy Abraham, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. Arsenal have been linked with a move for Abraham this summer, but he now looks set to leave England for Italy if Roma can agree personal terms.
According to Di Marzio, both clubs made significant steps in talks for Abraham to move to the Serie A today.
Roma have agreed to pay £4.2million (€5m) immediately and a further £33.9m (€40m) in future seasons.
He reports that the structure of payments is yet to be formalised, despite there being an agreement on the total.
The ball is now in Abraham’s court, with Roma needing to agree to personal terms before completing the transfer.
